Sidebar

I have added more political links, links to my friends' blogs, and links to random sites that I enjoy to spice things up a little on my boring 'ole blog. So enjoy!

nice new layout and addition of the sidebar. did you add them in by editing the HTML manually or through a template? it's also about time we had some pictures of you on here to increase the stalker resource quotient (SRQ) of your blog. i believe this is the amount of personal information ascertained through your blog divided by the total content. given the difficulty in quantifying this data, the SRQ is inherently imprecise. however, i'd guess your ballpark SRQ is around .30.

E - - Laine,

Geil, dass du Normans Blog eingebunden hast.

Although I usually disagree with you completely, I love your blog...it's addictive.

Two of my favorite readers! I am so lucky. Thanks for proclaiming your addiction to my blog, Chris! Heh, I figured you might not agree with most of it! Yeah, Norman actually read my blog through my AIM link, nice guy that he is. (If he's reading this, he sees that I am taking about him--Sorry Norman! Don't worry, only good things). You can probably read his blog much more easily than I can, with your German thesis under your belt if IIRC.

Steph, I added the vary sidebar categories in manually. I've tried to play around with template colors but haven't really gotten anywhere. Haha, is .30 SRQ high or low? Is that existing terminology? That is hilarious and very clever if you made that up. What do you think your SRQ is? Lately mine's gone up a bit, but my PCQ (political commentary quotient) has gone through the roof (which can be correlated to my being home last week+having more spare time+reading Joe Trippi's book), so that balances the SRQ out. Oh, to be a blog dork.

P.S. Chris, let me know if you reignite your blog and want me to link to it!

The Stalker Resource Quotient (SRQ) is my own creation. Although it has yet to be psychometrically validated, I suggest we try to spread the word! I think that a value of .30 isn't too high or too low. If you think about it, some people post exclusively about their personal lives. Stay tuned, I just may write my own blog entry about the exact way to measure it! (Can you tell I'm taking a class on Assessment and currently writing a paper about the validation evidence for an instrument?)

I've been thinking about "reignition" after I get settled in my job with the Senate Budget Committee. ...I'll let you know.

Well since you went and mentioned your interesting-sounding job, you must fill me in on it at some point. (I might be coming to DC in late July, so I'll let you know!)

Well if you are busy Steph, at least it sounds like you are getting a lot out of what you are learning. You should become an SRQ specialist. Is writing a blog about SRQ calibrating the SRQ positively or negatively? How meta is that (sorry).
