I don't think you should feel like you're a philistine just because you have thoughts, opinions, and reactions outside of intelligentsia. Obviously, there are some vacuous blogs out there, but even the most self-absorbed ones can have some value whether that is insight, humor, or satisfaction to our human inclination towards voyeurism. Anyway, I think you mix it up nicely, and I rather enjoy your more light-hearted musings.
Thanks for your encouragement. You're right. I should not be apologetic. (Females tend to be so much more apologetic than males, btw). I was just worried I was going overboard in terms of sounding like an old person.
