Funny site

I just found a website called Conservatives for American Values that I initially thought was scarily Republican, but after reading it a bit more, I realized it must be a joke. It's a sad place that our country's politics is in for this site to seem legit, even for a second. Choice quotes:

On a "Culture of Life"

Essentially a culture of life is a society that holds deep respect for the sanctity of life. Seems pretty simple, right? Well there are certain nuances to this concept that I want to address before you start decrying our treatment of detainees at Guantanimo Bay or capital punishment with this idea.

Who's Not a Part of the Culture of Life?
Not every person is eligible for the human respect a culture of life would provide. Torture by our government of anyone who threatens our freedom or even has the look of someone who might think about threatening our freedom is fine. If you are a terrorist you do not believe in the culture of life, therefore the culture of life does not believe in you.

On the Supreme Court

Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Conner has finally resigned [sic]. Even though she was a Reagan appointee, I always thought she was a very unwise pick (and I almost never question Reagan's judgment).

On liberals

WWFND: What Would Fox News Do?
First I thought of Fox News, and how they handle their own liberal pest problems.

Sesame Street: Big Bird and Grover Go to Tolerance Camp
Reading Rainbow:
The Anarchists Cookbook, Nuclear Weapons Plans
Painting with Bob Ross:
A Landscape without God
This Old House:
This Old House Full of Sodomites

Despite the past five years of political disappointment, at least we still have our sense of humor.
